From steeple and architectural restoration to copper fabrication, we are known for breathing new life into the buildings we work on. Our focus is on maintaining the integrity and beauty of structures and providing the highest level of service to our clients.

Our story starts back in 1936, when Barney Streigel founded Streigel Contracting in Jasper, IN.  Barney’s brother Tony began his apprenticeship after WW II ended and eventually took the company over in 1960.  Joe Helming started work with Tony in 1973 and after eight years of learning the trade, Joe and his brother David purchased the business and Helming Bros was born.

Though the name has changed and the business has continued to grow, the work we do maintains the same high level of quality that Barney started out with in 1936. Our facilities are a 9600 square foot space dedicated to building and maintenance services.

Helming Bros. prides itself on being able to restore the old to the original. We offer the highest quality of restoration and renovation while preserving the architectural integrity of the structure on every project. In addition to our restoration work, we also fabricate and install new items on existing structures or new builds. From copper fabrication to stained glass restoration and creation, we can service your architectural requirements.

We are based out of Jasper, IN, however we do serve clients all over Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Illinois.
